Laura Kasper, President/CEO CSP CIR
Excellent Customer Service is about delivering a positive memorable experience time and time again. Laura Kasper, President & CEO of Monarch Staffing has been doing just that in the local staffing market for years. She is a life-long resident of Delaware County and an alumna of Delaware County Community College, and of West Chester University where she majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Management. While in College, she landed an Internship with a local Telemarketing company which lead to a Regional Telemarketing Manager position. This was her formal start in recruiting, sales, and running a decentralized operation. There was validation for her outgoing personality and genuine interest in helping others and thus began her success record in recruiting and sales.
During the later part of 1990’s, she saw there was much consolidation in the staffing business and the local market was not being serviced well. As a former Vice President of a regional staffing firm, she gained valuable insights that propelled her to start Monarch Staffing in 2001.
Her passion is employee development, networking, and matching employers with job seekers.
Monarch was named the Small Business of the Year 2012 by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, and in 2012, Laura was named the Distinguished Alumni of DCCC where she had the privilege of giving the Keynote at the DCCC Commencement. In 2013, she received the Spirit of Excellence award from the Friends of the Delaware County Women’s Commission recognizing Women Entrepreneurs for their leadership and community service. Recently, Laura was named as one of Smart CEO’s Brava award winners recognizing successful women entrepreneurs.
Monarch Staffing ranks number 14th in the largest women-owned business in the area by the Philadelphia Business Journal and Monarch has been recognized as the Best of Staffing for both the Candidate and Client experience. Less than 1% of the staffing firms in the US achieve this award.
In her free time, Laura volunteers at local job centers, schools, and community organizations giving resume writing and interviewing workshops. She is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, board member for Foundation board of Delaware County Community College, New Choices, Hire One Chester County Volunteer, and a newly appointment Board member of the Workforce Investment Board of Delaware County. She also is a charter member of the Delaware County Human Resources Association and a board member of the Chester County HR Association.
